Job Control Computer System. A fully integrated computer network manages their entire job control, purchasing, invoicing, costing, quoting and accounting systems, The state of the art computer system allows fast efficient processing and storing af all necessary information. Records of all transactions are kept for a minimium of 5 years. |
| Failure Analysis Reports. After stripping each component sent to Thembelihle, failure analysis report is compiled and submitted to all customers, together with a quotation for repairts. These reports identify the type of damage and provide reasons for failure. The purpose of these reports is to identify and recurring causes of failure to customers so that corrective action can be taken. Monthly cumulative failure analysis reports are compiled for example: 45 cylinders repaired, 18 failures due to pin sizes in clevis bush. Recommendation: Ensure that the clevis pins are greased regularily. | |
